Spring League

SPRING 2026 REGISTRATION IS NOW OPEN

Yes, it’s that time again—dust off those cleats and grab your laptops, because registration looks a little different this year. Please read carefully before signing up (we promise it’s not too painful).

Change #1: School Proof Required

To complete registration, you’ll need to upload photo proof of where your child goes to school. This is true for every player, per the city's new policy.
Acceptable examples include:

  • School ID
  • School registration form
  • Class schedule with school letterhead
  • Report card
...basically, if it has the school’s name and your child’s name on it, you’re good to go!

Change #2: Scottsdale Residency (Yes, This Matters Now)

The City of Scottsdale has rolled out new field rental policies (fun, right?), which means we now have to track whether you’re a Scottsdale resident. This has zero impact on team placement—it’s purely an administrative thing. You don't need to upload anything to prove residency. (per CIty policy)

There's two ways that the City defines a resident:

  1. You live in and pay taxes to the City of Scottsdale.
Note: Not every Scottsdale mailing address counts. For example, ZIP code 85254 is not actually in the City of Scottsdale. If you’re not sure, you can check using the Scottsdale Parcel Map.

 ----- OR -----

  1. Your daughter attends

    1. Greyhawk Elementary or Pinnacle Peak Prep in the Paradise Valley School District.

If your daughter fits at least ONE of the two qualifiers above, she's a resident. If not, she's a non-resident.

If you live in Scottsdale and your player attends a school outside of the qualifiers, you are a resident. If you live outside of Scottsdale, but your player attends a qualifed school, you are a resident. We know this is a little more paperwork than usual (and sort of complicated) but we appreciate your patience. If both are true, then you're obviously a resident. This is a new process and we're all working through it.

Ready to Register? Here’s Your Next Step!

Based on all that info above (yes, we know—thank you for sticking with us, MVP!):

➡️ If you ARE a Scottsdale resident and you’ve got your proof of school enrollment handy, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER AS A RESIDENT.

➡️ If you are NOT a Scottsdale resident and you have your proof of school enrollment ready to roll, CLICK HERE TO REGISTER AS A NON-RESIDENT.

Either way, you’re just a few clicks away from joining the fun. It’s all line drives and high fives from here! Let’s play ball!

Games and Practices

Practices are generally any day from Monday to Thursday, and is ultimately up to your coach. Games are usually on Fridays and Saturdays, but those days may change due to rain-outs and field availability provided by the city of Scottsdale.  SMS makes every effort to keep schedules and locations as planned at the beginning of the season; however that is not always possible.
