Our Instructional Division is designed to teach fundamental softball skills to girls in 1st and 2nd grade in the Fall, and Kindergarten, 1st and 2nd grade in the Spring.

All players learn the same skills in a controlled group practice environment and apply the skills as teams playing games against each other.

Practices are generally any day from Monday to Thursday, and is ultimately up to your coach. Games are usually on Fridays and Saturdays, but those days may change due to rain-outs and field availability provided by the city of Scottsdale.  SMS makes every effort to keep schedules and locations as planned at the beginning of the season; however that is not always possible.
