Arizona Velocity Softball, or AVS, is a non-profit, 501[c]3 entity based in Scottsdale, AZ. The top priority of AVS is focused on building young ladies of strong character through our softball program. Our athletes will be given the opportunity to experience success in a variety of situations, both individual and team, and both on and off of the playing field. Our athletes will be challenged to reach their full potential, encouraged to develop emotional maturity, and will have the opportunity to learn how to deal with success and failure. Players will not only learn the physical aspects of softball, but they will also learn other life-long skills such as self-confidence, self-discipline, self-motivation, goal-setting, teamwork, cooperation, sportsmanship, and leadership.
